DCN Industrial Intercom System

    DCN is a universal broad application of intercom communication and public address system for industrial facilities. The system is developed with regard to the high requirements for security and reliability in hazardous areas. DCN system is built up with the help of DCN-1 and DCN-2 modules. DCN-1 functions as an independent central exchange unit if the number of terminal devices does not exceed 60, or as a slave module for DCN-2 connection. In this case the number of terminal devices increases up to 240 for one DCN 2. DCN allows for connection of desktop and wall-mounted both digital and analogue, simplex and duplex intercom stations at the distance of 6 km. The inbuilt power over ISDN circuit provides two-wire subscriber connection at the distance up to 3 km. DCN has the expanded bandwidth of 6.8 kHz which improves the connection quality. A special analogue subsystem module (ASM) allows to connect diverse analogue devices to the digital subscriber's interface: amplifiers including those with PA relays, broadcasting and emergency call service lines, fire and security alarm systems, analogue intercom stations, other intercom systems.
